Title of the project: “Salicornia europaea L. as a human pathogenic microorganisms free food”
The project aims to identify the natural susceptibility of crops to colonisation by microorganisms at the research sites with different climates and soil conditions using cultivable and uncultivable techniques (metagenomic analysis, qPCR). Additionally, the expression profile of genes involved in plant responses to biotic and abiotic stress will be determined using transcriptomic analysis. As a Phd student you should be familiar with microbiological techniques to investigate plant-microbial interactions in natural conditions and in in vitro systems. Your participation in writing scientific papers and presenting the results in national and international meetings is expected.
